Making an impact in and out of the office: November Giving 2023

As an affiliate management agency, November is a whirlwind of a month for us. With Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and preparing for the frenzy of online holiday shopping, our team – especially our amazing account managers – is kept busier than usual. However, we always make time for philanthropy, which has been a core thread of our DNA since the beginning.

This year, we took our November Giving to a new level by dedicating 12 days to making contributions to various nonprofit organizations. Our team supported a diverse range of causes, reflecting our commitment to making a positive impact on the local, national, and global scales. We not only made an impact in our clients’ sales this month, but in our community as well.

Our team donated to:

1. Th3 Pink Haus

Mission: Educate communities of color affected by triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), to encourage daily prevention by implementing integrative, holistic health and wellness, to provide financial support to women currently in treatment for TNBC,  and to empower women to advocate for their health.

2. Environmental Defense Center

Mission: The Environmental Defense Center works to protect and enhance the local environment through education, advocacy, and legal action.

3. Benjamin Franklin Elementary Foundation

Mission: Support the development of every student by identifying needs and raising funds to support evidence-based programs that promote engagement, creativity, educational excellence, environmental citizenship, and language and cultural enrichment.

4. Doctors Without Borders

Mission: Bring medical care to people affected by conflict, disasters, epidemics, and social exclusion.

5. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Mission: Advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.

6. American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)

Mission: At the forefront of animal rescue and protection since our founding as the first animal welfare organization in North America in 1866. For more than 150 years, ASPCA has been the leading voice in animal welfare, bringing the critical protection of animals to the forefront of society.

7. AIM At Melanoma Foundation

Mission: By directing and funding paradigm-shifting research initiatives; educating patients, healthcare professionals, and the public; and advocating for survivors and their families, AIM at Melanoma’s goal is to end this disease in our lifetime while improving the lives of those it affects.

8. Dream Center

Mission: The Dream Center serves as a resource center focused on providing support to those affected by homelessness, hunger, and the lack of education through residential and community outreach programs.

9. Helpline Youth Counseling (HYC)

Mission: Help build individual, family, and community health, well-being, prosperity, and equity. HYC serves clients and community members with trauma-informed, strength-based, person-centered prevention, early intervention, education, and treatment services.

10. National Kidney Foundation

Mission: The National Kidney Foundation is revolutionizing the fight to save lives by eliminating preventable kidney disease, accelerating innovation for the dignity of the patient experience, and dismantling structural inequities in kidney care, dialysis, and transplantation.

11. American Civil Liberties Union Foundation (ACLU)

Mission: For nearly 100 years, the ACLU has been the nation’s guardian of liberty, working in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.

12. Baby2Baby

Mission: A national nonprofit that provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves.

Participating in philanthropy as a company has benefited not only the broader community, but our daily culture as well. We get to make an impact from the office and bond with coworkers by learning what causes they are interested in. The butterfly effect is real in that one small action causes a ripple effect.

Our giving doesn’t begin and end in November. We are looking forward to continuing in December and during 2024.
